Hello! My name is Bonnie I’m registered childminder in se26 with a passion for creating a warm, safe, and nurturing home-from-home environment for children to learn and grow.
I bring a strong foundation of experience caring for children from also being a mum and having lots of childcare experience and I decided to become a registered childminder because I truly love working with children and believe in supporting their early development through play, exploration, and positive relationships.
My setting is designed to be a welcoming space where children feel comfortable, confident, and inspired. I follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework to ensure every child in my care receives the best start in life. Activities are tailored to suit each child's age and stage, and include everything from creative play and storytelling to outdoor adventures and learning everyday skills.
I am fully trained in Paediatric First Aid, safeguarding, and food hygiene, and I’m committed to providing a professional, caring, and flexible service for families.

My Experience
I bring with me a strong background in caring for children in both personal and informal settings. Over the years, I have cared for children of various ages—from babies and toddlers to school-aged children—through [family care, babysitting, volunteering, etc.]. These experiences have given me a deep understanding of children’s individual needs, routines, and development stages.
As a mum myself, I understand firsthand how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your child. My experience as a parent has given me a deep, practical understanding of children’s needs, behaviours, and development stages—from sleepless nights with a newborn to supporting a curious toddler or a confident school-aged child.
Raising my own child(ren) has taught me patience, empathy, and the importance of creating a consistent, loving environment where children feel safe, supported, and free to explore the world around them. It’s this same nurturing approach that I bring into my childminding setting.
Through my parenting journey, I’ve gained hands-on experience with:

Managing big emotions and encouraging positive behaviour
