About Me
Hello and Welcome to Miss Chantelle's Nursery!
October 2026 Update: We are so excited to announce we are have switched registrations bodies and are now directly registered with Ofsted! We also are very excited to have an Assistant joining us very soon so we will be able to offer some more spaces!
My name is Chantelle and I run Miss Chantelle's Nursery alongside my very excited 4 and 1 year old assistants! I am a Wife and Mother. We are a Christian family.
I am very passionate about seeing children grow and develop to their full potential! I love seeing their personalities come through and when they start to have big conversations and can really express their feelings and excitement! I love seeing a child so excited to tell me something and I then really get involved with their story and give them all my attention and interest to see their excitement go from a 8 to a 10 out of 10! I love children and have worked in Sunday Schools for years and done lots of babysitting for my friends over the years. My friends would thank me for watching their children but I would insist and say, "no thank you for letting me play with your babies!" I now have a little ones of my own who are mine and their father's world! We are planning on homeschooling our children when they get older so I have been studying and preparing myself. I decided to become a childminder because of my love for children and seeing them learn and develop and because I didn't want to leave my children for work so we decided to work together!
At Miss Chantelle's Nursery we aspire to see children grow into their full potential. We follow the EYFS Learning and Development guide line but also take time to personalise learning activities to meet all the needs and interests of children individually. We provide a home from home experience and desire children to feel safe, happy, excited and that they belong. I am all about Team Spirit. We will be a Team at Miss Chantelle's Nursey. We will play together, learn together and grow together! I want every child to feel included, special, important, loved and part of our team. I want every child to feel their voice, opinions and interests matter. We also look to build strong relationships with our families! We want to team up with parents/carers and together help and encourage their child/children to grow into their full potential.
We have a garden space where lots of learning and fresh air is readily available! We have veggie boxes and love teaching the children where food comes from and how to grow and care for foods. Then how to harvest, prepare and eat the veggies! We have big plans on growing lots of different veggies! potatoes, carrots, beans, tomatoes and cucumbers to name a few! Children will have lots of opportunities to learn all about growing their own veggies and then how to harvest, wash and prepare food with their produce!
My back ground is in Hospitality I was a Chef for 9 years, so I am excited to cook with the children and explore the wonderfully world of food! We will be doing a weekly baking activity and we have lots more things planned for all our mini chefs!
We also have some rabbits who love seeing the children coming with their favourite veggies! We do breed our rabbits every now and then and the children love seeing the babies grow! Which is a very exciting and cute learning experience for the children!
Our main Nursery space is filled with exciting activities and lots of space to learn and play!
My Experience
I have volunteered and worked in Sunday School for years. Primely ages 3 to 5 years old. But also 6 to 13 years old. I have been babysitting friends babies and young children over the years. I am a Mother to our darling daughter who is 4 and our sweet boy who is 1. I am confident with looking after young babies to older children.
My Qualifications
I am Fully Trained and registered with Ofsted.
I have completed a Full Paediatric First Aid Course with Tigerlily First Aid Training which I will complete again every 3 years to keep myself up to date and fully equipped.
My Availability
We are open 7am to 5pm Monday to Friday and are open throughout the year
My Fees
- Childminding from £7.50 per hour
£7.50 per hour
I offer Lunch and snacks at £3.50 per child per day

Chantelle is an adhoc childminder for our two sons (2+3). She is kind, caring and really goes the extra mile. Her communication with myself and our children is 10/10. There are different daily activities and she really thinks about the needs of the children, including those of her lovely child. I was worried about whether my boys would not be too much for Chantelle, because they can be a handful- they are lovely, but wild 🤪 yet she took it all in her stride and has done such a great job. My boys are excited to play at Chantelle’s, which for me is the best thing. She is getting the children involved in growing food and even makes me a coffee to go at the morning drop off. She communicates through the day, which I love. She also communicates really well if there are any issues that have arisen through the day, but does this with kindness and compassion. It’s hard to trust people with your children, but Chantelle is a lovely person and super professional. Thank you Chantelle x
