Hello and Welcome to Miss Chantelle's Tiney Home Nursery!
My name is Chantelle and I run Miss Chantelle's Tiney Home Nursery alongside my very excited 1 year old assistant! I am a Wife and Mother. We are a Christian family.
I am very passionate about seeing children grow and develop to their full potential! I love seeing their personalities come through and when they start to have big conversations and can really express their feelings and excitement! I love seeing a child so excited to tell me something and I then really get involved with their story and give them all my attention and interest to see their excitement go from a 8 to a 10 out of 10! I love children and have worked in Sunday Schools for years and done lots of babysitting for my friends over the years. My friends would thank me for watching their children but I would insist and say, "no thank you for letting me play with your babies!" I now have a little one of my own who is mine and her father's world! We are planning on homeschooling our daughter when she gets older so I have been studying and preparing myself. I decided to become a childminder because of my love for children and seeing them learn and develop and because I didn't want to leave my daughter for work so we decided to work together!
At Miss Chantelle's Tiney Home Nursery we aspire to see children grow into their full potential. We follow the EYFS Learning and Development guide line but also take time to personalise learning activities to meet all the needs and interests of children individually. We provide a home from home experience and desire children to feel safe, happy, excited and that they belong. I am all about Team Spirit. We will be a Team at Miss Chantelle's Tiney Home Nursey. We will play together, learn together and grow together! I want every child to feel included, special, important, loved and part of our team. I want every child to feel their voice, opinions and interests matter. We also look to build strong relationships with our families! We want to team up with parents/carers and together help and encourage their child/children to grow into their full potential.
We have a garden space where lots of learning and fresh air is readily available! I am so excited to get busy in our veggie patch this year! We have big plans on growing lots of different veggies! potatoes, carrots, beans, tomatoes and cucumbers to name a few! Children will have lots of opportunities to learn all about growing their own veggies and then how to harvest, wash and prepare food with their produce!
My back ground is in Hospitality I was a Chef for 9 years, so I am excited to cook with the children and explore the wonderfully world of food! We will be doing a weekly baking activity and we have lots more things planned for all our mini chefs!
Our main Nursery space is filled with exciting activities and lost of space to learn and play! We also have 2 goldfish who sit happily above our library and love listening to all the children's wonderfully reading and stories!
My Experience
I have volunteered and worked in Sunday School for years. Primely ages 3 to 5 years old. But also 6 to 13 years old. I have been babysitting friends babies and young children over the years. I am a Mother to our darling daughter who is almost 1 and a half! I am confident with looking after young babies to older children.
My Qualifications
I am Fully Trained and registered with Tiney who are a trusted Childminding Agency registered with Ofsted. Tiney also provide me with ongoing training, inset days and opportunities to work within the community
I have completed a Full Paediatric First Aid Course with Tigerlily First Aid Training which I will complete again every 3 years to keep myself up to date and fully equipped.

We are open 7am to 5pm Monday to Friday and are open throughout the year

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
£6.50 per hour or £65.00 for a 10 hour day
I offer Lunch and snacks at £3.00 per child per day
