I have 30 years of experience working with young children, both as a nanny and in nurseries, my most recent childcare position being a nursery manager. I'm a single mum of three older boys and I'm looking for something part time and local to suit home but keep me busy!
My Experience
I was a nanny for a number of years then moved into nurseries where I soon became a nursery manager. I have experience with all of the under 5's, plus my teenage sons too! My last role was as a teaching head teacher of a private nursery school and my class was with eighteen 2-3 year old children, which was so much fun. I am organised, flexible, knowledgeable about all ages, hard working, punctual, kind and know how to get the most out of a child. I've done toilet training and tantrums, food likes and dislikes, I can cook and provide stimulating activities to enhance the learning of children.
My Qualifications
NNEB - NURSERY NURSING EXAMINATION BOARD. Two years training at college 1990-1992, learned about all areas of child development
My Availability
Any week day. I live in Hanworth but on the border of Hampton so not too far away. As long as I'm home to cook tea, I'm very flexible.
