My Summary

My Experience

I have worked with children who were autistic and support them through social interactions, taught them how to communicate effectively through the use of English and Math and integrate themselves with society. I worked through an agency so I was lucky enough to experience several schools and different ages with SEND needs; however the main school I was placed was Fairways. After my year experience with SEND children, I decided to do a PGCE and within this course, I went to a placement at Tanners Brook Primary school and worked along side a year 2 teacher, where I had to plan lessons, work with small groups and conduct lessons to suit the needs of all the children in the class. Once that placement was over, I went to St Marks school where I was placed in a year 5 class and I had did the same. Once I graduate, I worked at Bevois Town Primary school and have been working there for 3 years now, teaching a year 3 class. I have tutored after school as well for a couple of months.

My Qualifications

I have completed an undergraduate degree at the University of Portsmouth in Childhood and Youth Studies. After I completed a PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) in Primary Education.

My Availability

I am free most weekend in the mornings and I can be free after school and evenings some weekdays. Feel free to message if any of the available times you would like is not displayed, I am flexible and can make changes for you.
