About Me
Bright Beginnings Childminders! Based in Shafton, Barnsley.
I enjoy looking after children and supporting them to learn and develop through exciting play opportunities. I believe it is extremely important for children to feel safe, secure and welcomed in their environment. I have 2 young children myself! I am an agency registered childminder. I have first aid training and safeguarding training. I also specialise in working with children with special educational needs from previous work experience. I am creative and enjoy setting up daily activities in tuff trays for the children to explore freely as well as our continuous provision.
My Experience
I have experience with babies from 3 months old up to 11 years old from working in a private children’s centre. I also have experience working with children and young people in a special educational needs school.
My Qualifications
I have a qualification in Level 3 childcare and education. I am also an agency registered childminder. First aid training, safeguarding training.
My Availability
I currently have full availability due to only registering this month! However, I am receiving quite a lot of interest. Available for drop offs and pick ups from Oakhill Primary Academy and Shafton Primary School. Contact me for more information.

My Fees
- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
My fees will cover the children’s meals, snacks and outings. We aim to go to local play areas, play groups, farms, libraries, museums and parks most days each week!
My Local Schools
- I provide pick ups at Shafton Primary Academy
- I provide drop offs and pick ups at Oakhill Primary Academy
