About Me
I’m 26 years old and currently pregnant with my first child, my partner also has a daughter who is now school age and we have a 4 year old dog.
We’re so excited for our new arrival but still trying to work out all of the logistics in terms of childcare and the overall cost associated with it.
My Requirements
I am a soon to be mum to a baby boy who is due in July. I intend to return to work after 7 months and will be working full time across 4 days with every Friday off. My partner also works full time.
While we will have family support on up to two days a week I really need to find a childminder who is able to look after our son for a minimum of two half days, with the potential to increase to one full day and one half day depending on family availability. At the moment we believe Mondays and Wednesdays are going to be the days we need a childminder but this is subject to change once the baby is here and I’m returning to work.
Ideally I would like someone who is open 52 weeks a year as neither myself or my partner work term time.
Flexibility would be preferred as I’m highly dependent on my mums support and her shifts in work can change, however I do understand this isn’t always possible in a childcare or nursery setting.
Due to my sons age at the time of attending a childminder, I need someone who is comfortable and has experience with children under 1.
