My Requirements

Hi, we are a professional family in North Cambridge looking for a nanny to join us at the end of August/early September 2024 until at least the end of 2025 when our youngest will start at pre-school.
We live on the edge of Chesterton, CB4.

We have 3 girls, that will be aged 7, almost 4 and 16 months at the start of the role.

The role would be Monday - Thursday, 8:15am to 6pm (some flex on start and finish)

Role details:
* Sole care of our toddler for all 4 days including planning activities and organising lunch/snacks for her
* 4 year old also at home for 2 days a week (she’s at preschool Wed and Thurs)
* School pick up for 7 year old 2 days a week
* School holidays all 3 would be home with the nanny but the eldest 2 usually do some holiday camps etc.
* General tidying of toys and the playroom etc. but we don’t need laundry or cleaning as those are taken care of
* Evening meal prep for the girls
* Helping with reading and homework

Person Spec:
We are looking for a kind and nurturing person to become part of our family for at least 15 months.
Someone who has experience of caring for multiple children.
A love of crafts and music would be great and our middle daughter is an enthusiastic baker!
We have a large garden and playroom at home and the girls love visits to the park and library etc. Our toddler does a few groups locally we would like her to continue.
We also need someone willing to cook an evening meal each night for the girls and help our eldest with school reading/homework.

We have parking available and a cargobike that a nanny would be welcome to use.

My husband and I both work in the office so we wouldn’t usually be at home during the day. We don’t have any pets (much to our eldest daughter’s disappointment!)

Qualifications:
* Enhanced DBS and paediatric first aid required
* Ideally Level 3 childcare qualification but not essential
* 2 years minimum experience, ideally with toddlers and/or multiple child families
* At least 2, preferably 3 contactable references including your current/most recent role

Hours:
* Mon-Thurs 8:15am - 6pm
* 39 hours per week

Pay:
* £16 per hour gross
* Negotiable for the right person
