About Me
My name is Mafalda and I come all the way back from Portugal. I have been living in Scotland for the last 5 years here I have qualified as an Early Years Practitioner and been working in local nurseries for the same length of time. I hold a SSSC registration, first aid training and have over 16 years of experience working in education as a teacher. I am also fluent in Portuguese, Spanish and English, can communicate in French and understand a little bit of Italian too. I am very enthusiastic about my job and love to bring the best outcome of every child under a fun and calm environment.
My Experience
I have over 16 years of experience as a teacher and Early Years practitioner. I’m fully registered with the SSSC and GTCS ( Geography Secondary). I have worked over 4 different countries dealing with a variety of different cultures and backgrounds, providing different learning opportunities to children under a playful environment. I also hols a PGD in Additional Supports Needs.
My Qualifications
I hold a SVQ3 registration together with the SSSC. From my previous experiences I was also registered with GTCS as a secondary teacher. I am first aid training and hold child protection certificates together with food preparation and cross contamination.
