About Me
my name is Julie, I’ve been a registered child minder for 28 yrs., I have looked after many children from 5 months old until they go to school, some until they go on to secondary school.
Pytchley school is within walking distance and I am able to drop off and collect from school
I was rated a good at my inspection this year by OFSTED

I live just off junction 9 of the A14
My main aim for the children in my setting is to provide a safe happy
stimulated homely environment, where the children learn through play.
We like to do messy play e.g. painting, play dough, sticking. Singing dancing, cooking
I follow the Early Years Foundation stage using all six areas of learning, helping each to achieve their development in the best way possible, treating all children as individuals.
I have a fully enclosed rear garden with sand pit, large tropical playground, water play table etc, at the rear of the garden is a gate leading into the park with a very spacious area for football/ball games fun , exercise, riding bikes.
My Experience
I believe that children learn whilst they are happy and playing to enhance this. I regularly go to tots sessions, child minding support groups,
Some of the indoor activities I do are cooking, painting, crafts to celebrate
Festivals ,music/rhyme time, have a computer and camera for children to enhance their ICT skills.
Free play to discover the vast amount of toys I have.
I work very closely with parents, and involve them in their own child's/children's development and planning.
My Qualifications
I have been a registered child minder for 28years
Food Safety.
I hold a paediatrics First Aid Certificate which I keep update every 3 years
I have looked after a child with Asperger syndrome
I am a Parish Councillor
My Availability
I have Two spaces available for September, Government funded places available now
my Hours are Monday-Friday 0700-18:00 with some flexibility

SNACKS: all snacks through out the day will be Included.
BREAKFAST:
Cereals -Weetabix,Cornflakes,Toast,/Crumpets with a variety of spreads,Fresh Fruit Milk or Fruit juice
LUNCH: choice of Sandwiches with Ham/Cheese/Tuna etc
Jacket potatoes with choice if fillings.
EVENING MEAL: served at 17:00 home cooked food will include fresh Vegetables, fruit and balanced diet.
