My Summary

My Experience

I previously worked as a youth worker for Birmingham city council in which my role entailed supporting and mentoring young people struggling with learning difficulties; behavioural issues such as ADD and ADHD as well as those with adverse childhood experiences like exploitation. Mentoring within schools was also a part of my job role for the children who may find school challenging. I also engaged in daily activities such as podcasts, sports, and cooking as well as coordinating and chaperoning on residential trips such as camping and water sports. I currently work in a SEN school as a teacher assistant supporting students with special needs and behavioural issues. In addition my first job in 2018 was also in a childrens play centre chaperoning children and allowing adults to have a little bit of relaxation whilst they play .

- The Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training on Learning disability and Autism

My Availability

I am currently working in a school during the day however on school holidays I will be fully available.
