About Me

Hello, my name is Julie. I live with my husband and 3 adult children. We have 2 miniature schnauzers, Romy and Dora. My childminding setting is at our home in a quiet close on a new build development in the village of Davenham. I am just a few minutes walk from the primary school.
I take children to local parks and the Baby and Toddler group in the village hall and for walks in the local area. I offer a calm and safe environment with activities to provide learning through having fun. We have a large garden for children to enjoy with fruit and vegetable area and summerhouse. Our pets have their own enclosed area.
I provide children with fresh homecooked healthy meals and snacks and make sure they spend plenty of time playing and exploring outdoors.
Children take home their diary each day and I fill a learning journey folder with photos of their achievements and milestones and of the days we spend together.

My Experience

I have enjoyed being a childminder for 17 years caring for children from 6 months to 11 years. I have been rated "Outstanding" by Ofsted since 2011.
