My Experience

My experience with childcare under 5 has been incredibly rewarding and fulfilling. I have had the opportunity to work with a diverse range of children, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and newborns.

My experience working with children has been truly eye-opening and rewarding. One of the most important things I’ve learned is that no two children are the same — each child has their own personality, pace, learning style, and unique set of needs. This understanding has shaped the way I approach childcare, encouraging me to be flexible, observant, and responsive in everything I do.

I take the time to get to know each child as an individual — understanding what excites them, what challenges them, and how they best engage with the world around them. Whether it’s through play, creative activities, outdoor learning, or quiet time in a sensory space, I adapt my approach to support their interests and developmental stage.

By tailoring activities and routines to suit each child, I’m able to help them progress across all areas of development — from communication and language, to physical and emotional growth, and their personal, social, and cognitive skills. It’s incredibly fulfilling to see a child grow in confidence and capability because they feel understood, supported, and encouraged in a way that works best for them.

This personalised, child-centred approach lies at the heart of everything I do — creating a safe and inclusive space where every child can flourish at their own pace.

My Qualifications

- Childminder registered with Ofsted
- Paediatric First Aid Training
- Enhanced DBS; Introductory Training Course (Ofsted Recognised)
- EYFS statutory framework
- prevent duty training
(Safeguard training ongoing as there are upcoming training for new annual year)
- clean driving licence

My Availability

During term time, Mon-Fri from 8:00-3:00
