Hello! My name is Jade, and I’m a passionate and experienced childminder with a strong background in early education. I’ve worked as a qualified teacher for over 13 years, teaching children from Nursery to Year 3. During that time, I developed a deep understanding of how young children learn, grow, and thrive through play, routine, and nurturing care.
Now, as a childminder, I bring that same commitment to creating a safe, stimulating, and supportive environment where children feel happy, secure, and encouraged to explore the world around them. My Experience
Although I’m new to registered childminding, I bring over 13 years of hands-on experience working with children in a variety of settings. I’ve worked as a qualified teacher across Nursery to Year 3, supporting children at every stage of their early development—academically, socially, and emotionally.
Throughout my career, I’ve built strong, trusting relationships with families, supported children with diverse needs (including SEND), and created engaging, nurturing environments where children feel safe and valued.
Outside of the classroom, I’ve also provided regular babysitting care for my godson and other family friends’ children over the years. I’ve always been the person others turn to for calm, reliable, and caring childcare—and now I’m proud to offer that same support professionally through my childminding setting.
My experience gives me a deep understanding of how children learn through play, structure, and positive relationships. I’m passionate about making every child feel at home, while providing exciting opportunities for them to grow, explore, and thrive.
My Qualifications
I am a fully qualified and experienced teacher with over 13 years of teaching across Nursery to Year 3. I hold a degree in Early Years Education, which has given me a strong foundation in child development and the principles of high-quality early learning.
Throughout my teaching career, I have worked with a wide range of children, including those with additional needs, and have completed specialist training in SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities). I’m also fully Paediatric First Aid trained and regularly update my Safeguarding knowledge to ensure best practice.
Now as a registered childminder, I bring all of that professional experience into a nurturing, home-from-home setting where children can feel safe, supported, and inspired every day.
My Availability
starting off with holiday care at the moment as I am currently an EYFS teacher so just waiting to get out of my contract before setting up for full time.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
my fees are £5 an hour for holiday time.
I will not be offering food however will offer juice and snacks. Parents are to provide food for their children.
