About Me
Hello my name is Rhonda I have over 15 years experience working in nursery settings. I am Ofsted Registered and located in New Cross. I live with my partner who is a Gas engineer, we have 3 wonderful independent grown up children all in their twenties, and 4 beautiful grandchildren.
I am very passionate about working closely with children and their parents/carers, and enjoy getting to know each individual child's characteristics and needs, to help tailor their learning and development within a warm, homely, stimulating, fun and most of all a happy environment.
I love exploring outdoors visiting parks, libraries, play groups, museums and woodlands. Your children will be exploring nature and experiencing learning opportunities using natural resources on a regular basis at the local parks and amenities.
I provide nutritious home cooked meals giving your child the opportunity to make choices and to help with some food preparation helping to promote independence and understanding of nutritional value and options.
My Experience
I am an experienced early years Preschool Room Leader with over 15 years of experience working in nursery settings with children aged 6 months to 5 years. I have excellent working knowledge of the EYFS ( Early Years Foundation Stage Framework) and the 7 areas of learning. Extensive experience in planning stimulating age appropriate activities to help develop children's knowledge and understanding, to observe and record children's interests, development and progress. Knowledge of children's different characteristics of effective learning and supporting them through play. Pediatric First aid trained.

Finding Rhonda has been a miracle!! Our daughter is excited everyday to see Rhonda and her friends. She feels so at home and has the best time every single day. Rhondas communication is brilliant, we always know how the day has gone and because of the setting, Rhonda can really tailor each child's experience to their needs which you will never get from a nursery or big setting. Rhonda was exactly what we were looking for!! Perfect is the only way to describe it!

We feel so lucky to have found Rhonda. Not only is her place a home from home, but Rhonda herself feels like home. Our daughter loves her to bits and is always happy to go to Rhonda's.

Rhonda has been looking after my son for almost 6 months now. I was really nervous about going back to work and leaving him in childcare. My worries were gone as soon as i met Rhonda and my son absolutely adores her! She is absolutely amazing with the children! Thank you Rhonda!
