The absolute best!

When we found Mona she was an absolute godsend. She was with us for only three months because she already had another contract starting from then on, we really wish we could have kept her and miss her sorely.

When Mona started, our daughter was 14 months and we had had one awful experience with a childminder by that point, whom we left after five days because of their methods and approach. That experience had left us traumatised and unsure how to find a good childcare setting or trust in our judgement. We interviewed several nannies, resolved to search until we find someone just right. When we saw Mona, the way she interacted with our daughter on that very first meeting, and how our daughter took to her right away, the cliché "you'll just know" became true.

Mona was someone I had complete confidence in. Her sincerity and kindness, her warmth, her respect for and deep sensitivity and responsiveness to the child, their personality and needs, are unparalleled. As is her adaptability and patience. With some nannies, you see their personality take centre stage and you wonder whether that is compatible with the child. With Mona it was the opposite -- she let our daughter be the centre, be herself and develop at her pace, she listened and watched, gently guided and encouraged, provided a safe, loving space built solidly on their engaging interaction and created days that were built around our daughter's interests and needs. Our daughter flourished with her, I could see that she was happy and relaxed, could see her learning new things, words, sign-language, trying new things, I could see Mona adapting to her -- and our -- needs. I could also see the clear bond between them, which grew so fast. Mona became one of the family. I couldn't wish for anything more in a nanny. To me, a first-time mother, Mona was a source of invaluable advise, help and reassurance. She prepared lunches for our daughter, deferring to how we wanted her to eat, and left the kitchen cleaner than she found it. She took our daughter on fun days out in the park, in the library, at play groups, tailoring her days carefully. If we needed her to come earlier or stay later, that was never a problem. Mona was extremely responsive, updating us regularly throughout the day and sending photos. Everything was easy, transparent and reassuring with her -- Mona really is the ideal nanny. We couldn't recommend her highly enough -- and would be very happy to answer any questions or chat.
