My Summary
About Me
I am first and foremost a proud mum to two beautiful girls, aged 11 and 8, who inspire me daily. My journey in childcare and education has been both rewarding and varied, giving me the opportunity to support children in different stages of their growth and learning.
Before my current role, I spent 8 wonderful years as a nanny, first in a job-share in Chiswick, and then solely for one family. It was such a privilege to be welcomed into these families lives and I felt so lucky to play a part in their early years. When I started my own family I was lucky enough to be able to bring my own children with me which worked so perfectly for all at the time. We attended lots of different playgroups and classes and I assisted with homework and did light chores e.g - kids washing, helping keep their bedrooms tidy and cooking for the children. I also made sure we planned play dates with friends from school and had a great nanny network around us. I would always keep fantastic communication between myself and the parents and kept a daily diary of any changes or development for each child.
I really do have such fond memories of being a part of both families lives and still keep in contact with both families now and again.
For the past 6 years, I’ve been working in a primary school in Isleworth as a Teaching Assistant and Cover Supervisor role. I have worked across Early Years, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2 which has given me a strong knowledge of the primary curriculum. Most recently I worked in a Year 4 classroom where I regularly led whole-class PPA cover, managed behaviour, maintained structure, and delivered the primary curriculum confidently to a class of 30.
This year I’m back in Year 1, which feels like home to me. Early literacy is where my heart really lies – I run daily phonics groups with children of all abilities, and seeing their little faces light up when they make progress (big or small) makes every bit of what I do worthwhile.
I have gained a lot of confidence in behaviour management (you need this when leading a class of 30 lol!) and also working as part of a team but using initiative when needed. I have got SEN experience and attend regular Safeguarding training. I am also paediatric first aid.
Alongside my school role, I also work with The Little Wedding Crèche, a unique company that provides childcare at weddings. I lead a team to create safe, fun, and engaging spaces for children, allowing parents to relax and enjoy the celebration. Being part of such a special day is always a joy, and I love bringing creativity and care to every event.
I throughly enjoy working at the school but am looking to get back into nannying for the right family. I am looking for 3/4 days a week (flexible on days) with a possibility of my two gorgeous girls joining me in the holidays for a day or so a week. They are really kind girls and totally love other children especially babies/toddlers and would be such fun and a great help. Of course you can make your own mind up with them but I’m sure you won’t disagree when meeting them
I bring dedication, warmth, and a wealth of experience to every role I take on, with a genuine love for helping children flourish both academically and emotionally.
I would be more than happy to forward on my CV and my most recent references if want to chat further.
My Experience

Am very happy to forward on my CV so please just ask.

Left school with 8 GCSE’s and have a NVQ level 3 in Diploma in childcare and education. Paediatric first aid trained and have attended a number of safeguarding and behaviour management courses at the school I work at.
Again am happy to send through CV.
