Our one-year-old son loves Maria. She’s understanding, enthusiastic, cool, and caring—his face would light up when she entered the flat, and he’d walk quickly to go and greet her. She was kind enough to meet us at the hospital to provide support when he had a blood draw, and on another occassion, she showed us a great play park nearby. On the way home from that park, he was tired and grumpy, so we had to sing and clap the whole way back to keep him entertained—a fun memory! She was willing to trek up to St. Anthony’s Chapel with us in Holyrood park with Rowan strapped to her well, and though it’s a bit if a steep climb, I felt confident in her balance and athletic ability while carrying him. He had fun learning Spanish from her as well—I’d been trying to teach him what little Spanish I recalled from high school, and it was nice to receive support in this endeavor from someone with fluency in the language. Maria was also willing to prepare meals for him and can fry a decent egg, which is not the easiest task, as Rowan loves his eggs a very specific way—neither too firm nor too runny for the yolk, with the white soft and not too crispy. Would hire her fulltime if she had the availability and if we could afford it!

Maria is an incredible nanny; she immediately bonded with my little one, who adores her.
I needed her service for a couple of days, and she was very flexible with the timing around our working schedule.
Maria is very attentive, kind, sweet and joyful with an incredible positive energy and attitude. She engaged our child in various activities, such as playing and learning in the park, going on walks, and taking an amazing stroll at the botanical gardens!
Since Maria is also a teacher, she helped our child with activities to learn and consolidate different subjects.
We cannot recommend Maria enough, her dedication and passion with children are remarkable.
