About Me
I am an orthopaedic surgeon based in Norwich, currently working at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. I have a baby boy who is two years old.
My Requirements
We are a friendly Indian family of three living in the NR4 area of Norwich and are currently looking for a reliable and experienced housekeeper-nanny to assist us with cooking and household chores on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate should be comfortable preparing North Indian vegetarian meals, including dishes such as paranthas, chapatis, curries, and rice, and should be able to maintain a clean and organised kitchen. In addition to cooking, the role will involve general house cleaning, such as tidying, dusting, and ironing. Occasional help with child-related tasks may be required, although the focus will be on cooking and housekeeping. We are looking for someone who can come three to four times per week, preferably including weekends for meal preparation and cleaning. The work schedule is flexible and can be discussed to suit both parties. Pay is negotiable based on experience. If you are friendly, trustworthy, and take pride in your cooking and housekeeping skills, we would love to hear from you. Please contact me.

We have had an extremely disappointing experience with Roxana. She initially appeared enthusiastic for a job and was keen to babysit our little one. More importantly our initial impressions were that she was trustworthy, kind and attentive to our child. Sadly, it did not last very long. She immediately decided not to come for work on the next day to appease her other employer. We found her actions extremely unprofessional and felt she lacked empathy, as our poor child bonded well with her the previous day. Despite having begun her employment with us, she agreed to work for her previous employer citing various ‘excuses’ . This made us realise that she was never transparent with us and was actually selfish, as she never once considered how her actions would affect us. In the end we were quite dissapointed to have allowed her into our house and bond with our child. Anyone going to avail her services in the future, please get a written commitment or a contract signed.
