• Overseeing daily operations of a busy nursery, ensuring compliance with health, safety and education standards (EYFS).
• Lead a team of five teachers, providing ongoing support and feedback.
• Primary caregiver for five infants, building strong relationships with all children’s families, offering reassurance, guidance on child development, behavior, routines and transitions.

• Sole charge of three children, aged 2, 6 and 10.
• Did school/nursery drop off/pickup, taking children to appointments and sports, arranged social events with friends.
• Stayed home with sick children if required, also worked additional days/hours at short notice if needed.
• Responsible for light household duties during the day, as well as cooking dinner and preparing lunchboxes/afternoon snacks. Responsible for household management such as communicating with daycare/school, running errands, picking up groceries, light cleaning, caring for pets etc.

• Lead a team of six teachers, transitioned infants and toddlers into the centre in what was a challenging time, helped to guide new parents as they adjusted to childcare with their babies.

• Introduced the Pikler approach to the other infant staff, implemented primary caregiving with infants to support secure attachment.
