About Me

I'm Alison, NNEB trained with over 40 years of experience working with children. My last post was a teaching assistant at a Hampstead pre prep school in London , where i gave 37 years of service, I accepted redundancy due to recent restructuring at the school and would now love something local without a 5 hour day commute! I'm a mother of one and have 6 step grandchildren. I'd be able to offer flexibility of days and hours which could alter each week. I live in Hailsham , have my own car and clean driving licence , enjoy cycling over to Eastbourne and regular swimming.

Building a strong nurturing relationship is key to me to promote your child’s well being and forming a happy secure attachment. I understand children are unique individuals and have differing dispositions. This enables me to understand their learning development needs and to support and challenge them in active and creative ways. I believe that encouraging children to actively engage in a variety of safe environments fosters meaningful and enjoyable learning.

My Experience

After completing the NNEB training i was a live in nanny for a 6 month baby for 2 years in London. I then nannied for two other families before joining North Bridge House pre prep. I had a break of 9 months where i did a ski season in Verbier as a ski nanny and childrens rep in Portugal before returning to the school.

My Qualifications

Ringmer secondary school educated. NNEB 2 year training at Eastbourne college. First aid and all the safeguarding training that schools require.
