My Experience

I have worked with children of all ages since I was a teenager (many moons ago!) as a babysitter, throughout my two years of training and child psychology studies - at playgroups, maternity wards and special needs centres, and several summers with families both in the UK and Menorca. In my many years of living abroad, I have worked at Chester House private childcare centre in Sydney, Australia and helped raise my Godson (from toddler to teen) whilst also volunteering to help care for abandoned newborns at an Orphanage in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. There have also been all the other children I have worked with in-between! During filming on location and studio environments - from Blue Peter to award-winning documentaries about children's education.

My Qualifications

The NAMCW diploma (National Association for Maternal and Child Welfare) is a two-year full-time course that includes both practical and theoretical components and incorporates child development. Nannies with NAMCW qualifications are equivalent to the NVQ Level 3 and BTEC qualifications of today.

My Availability

I am currently working with two super little boys aged four and six after school so current availability is now weekday mornings until 2pm. Or evenings from 7pm.
I can be flexible on days/weekends/evenings as long as scheduled in advance.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
• Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)
