Amazing childminder - highly recommend

From the moment my daughter met Michelle she has been so happy in her company. Michelle looks after my daughter one day a week and is very flexible and always makes an effort to accommodate changes to our arrangement if possible.

Michelle takes my daughter out somewhere every day to soft play or the park or another activity, and has loads of great toys at her house to keep her entertained. My daughter is nine months old and is always really happy and excited to go to Michelle's house and is always happy when I pick her up at the end of the day. I feel like my child is very well cared for and completely safe and secure in Michelle's company.

Michelle sends photos and updates throughout the day and always provides a run down at the end of the day including information about how much my daughter has eaten, drunk, slept and how many wet and dirty nappies, as well as how she has been during the day.

We will be starting full time at a nursery in the next few months and we will be very sad to leave Michelle - she is an excellent care giver and really makes an effort to track and further the children's development during activities and play time, and I am so comfortable and content to leave my child with her.

It’s a pleasure to care for your daughter , she’s a happy baby.

I enjoy teaching her new things when she is with me , and helping her to develop and grow whilst she is in my care.

She is a credit you she amazing and makes my day when I have her.

Fantastic, positive and caring childminder

Michelle has been our son's childminder for 1 and a half years since he was 10months old. As our first child this was a big step for us and Michelle made this transition much easier and stress free. Michelle welcomed us in to meet her whole family which was so important as they all interact with our son on a daily basis. Her husband and kids help create a wonderful fun, family environment.

We have excellent communication with Michelle, throughout the day she sends us great photos and keeps us informed on all their activities. Michelle is open and honest with regards to our son's development and he has thrived in her care!

What we love about Michelle is she is so proactive and has the kids out and about doing a broad range of activities. Without a doubt this has been the most challenging 6 months for a childminder and she is always looking for new outdoor activities and thinking one step ahead. She has overcome any challenges we have faced and has talked us through all in advance and always keeps us informed.

Only that our circumstances have changed we would still be using Michelle, I highly recommend her! Our son will miss her and the family so much!

Amazing childminder!

I don’t usually write reviews, but this time I must make an exception and give this wonderful woman the credit she deserves!

Michelle started caring for my little Sean when he was six month old, and did so for a whole wonderful and unforgettable year.

From the first day I noticed how she showers so much warmth and love on him, and I believe that’s also why he took a fancy to her so fast. I could actually leave him smiling and laughing and head to work with a great feeling!

I really do believe that in the early ages the most important thing for a baby is to feel protected and loved, and with Michelle you know your precious ones will get the best huddle and cuddle ever

I also feel Michelle contributed a lot to Sean’s development! Usually it’s hard to tell what they pick up at home and what at the childminder/ nursery. But with English being my family’s second language and not used at home, we can actually distinguish more easily…

Sean’s English is clearly more developed than our native home spoken language and this can only be credited to Michelle! So much personal attention, so many brain development activities and fieldtrips! Learning about animals in the farmhouse, studying plants in the nursery, reading books and storytelling in the library, and frequent visits to all the parks, playgrounds, soft play centres and play & stay groups in the area! And on top of it all, Sean had the time to keep bringing home his handiwork and crafts. Sometimes felt like my baby’s schedule is busier than mine

Sure, it was also very convenient that Michelle was so flexible with me about changing days and hours when needed, and of course it was great that she charged a really fair price (below the average I believe) but that all were just nice ‘bonuses’ for me.

I mean, Sean isn’t my first child and I experienced having to leave my baby in a nursery and head to work, while he is screaming and crying for me not to go... so bringing Sean over and seeing him recognize the building and starting to hop enthusiastically in his buggy and call for Michelle – that’s just priceless!!! Kept the smile on my face the entire day :)

A Real Lifesaver

I contacted Michelle on short notice in November because we had just temporarily moved to Camden and I only needed 2 days a week for a few weeks. Michelle was lovely and so quick to respond and my kiddos (age 3 and 1) were able to start right away. They had a blast in her comfortable home and she was just wonderful with them.

I can only hope we find someone as lovely in Wimbledon. We will certainly miss her.

EXCELLENT CHILDMINDER

What can I say other than echo the other reviews that have already been left here? Michelle is an excellent childminder who we are very sad to be leaving (which is only because we have moved too far away and are unable to make the journey with our young son).

She is professional but fun, always welcomes us with a huge smile and keeps us up to date not only with the daily activities our child is doing but also with his development as a whole, which is very much appreciated and reassuring especially as a new parent leaving your child for the first time. Her pricing is very fair and she has proved herself to be very flexible time and time again when life or work got in the way of our usual schedule.

But most importantly, above all else, our little boy loves Michelle and the time he spends with her and her family and I think that says it all.

If I could leave more than five stars I would.

We could not have asked for a better childminder

Michelle has looked after our son since he was 7 months old, he is now nearly 2 and a half. She has been there at every corner offering advice and keeping track of his development. She always let's us know what he has been up too throughout the day. Michelle is always out and about doing different activities. She does learning activities and has helped get our son ready for nursery/preschool next year. I would strongly recommend Michelle as a child minder.

3 beautiful years

Michelle has been looking after our soon-to-be-3 years old daughter since she was 3 months old. From when she was a baby up until now where she's a cheerful, outgoing child, our daughter was looked after by Michelle in the best possible way. Michelle is a very caring and dynamic person, always finding the best activities for kids, keeping us posted on everything we need to know about our daughter. She has open discussions about the best ways to move forward when a child passes an important stage of her life, is happy to accommodate when our professional life needs us to stay late at work.. she's honestly been the best child carer and parent supporter, and moving out of Camden was the only reason that could bring us to remove our daughter from her care - which was a tough decision to make. We will keep coming to Camden as often as possible so that our daughter can keep seeing Michelle, as well as her lovely husband and amazing children, who became our kid's substitute big brother and sister :)
