About Me

My name is Kofoworola . I’ve been working with children for about 10 years , ranging from birth to 11yrs old. I come from a very big family , I’ve helped to look after my siblings , nephews , nieces and cousins. I’ve always known from a young age that I wanted to work with children it’s always been a passion of mine. I have quite a lot of experience working with babies and children , I’ve worked in primary schools , nurseries and I’ve also been a nanny. I have taken part in volunteer work working in primary schools which I very much enjoyed. I love working with babies and children because I love to see them develop and grow through play and learning. I studied childcare play and learning development in college , I’m a qualified level 3 practitioner. Over the years I’ve learned so much about children which I incorporated into my everyday planning and play whilst I work with babies and children. As a practitioner, I’ve planned activities using the 7 prime areas of learning. I’ve also used the 3 I’s. I’ve had key children which I had to create next steps for them. I’m a very energetic, enthusiastic, creative individual. I love outdoor play , I find that independent play as child leads them to discover learn and explore new things such as new words or new textures. In the future , I wish to create my own charity to support babies and children all over the world. I believe play is important I’m a child’s life , it contributes to their development and I also believe every child around the world should be given an opportunity to get a education and be in a safe environment. Over the years , I’ve enjoyed working in different early years environments as I get to meet new people and new children. As I’m meeting new children , I’m able to develop bonds with them which I enjoy. I have also taken on senior roles such as acting room leader, after school club supervisor , I’m a very organised, professional individual. I believe that planning and communication is key for a successful working environment. I am looking for a new opportunity in childcare such as working in a new country to teach and also learn about childcare.
