Hi, I’m Mahima! I’m currently a full-time Teaching Assistant in a special school, and I’ve been teaching for over two years. I tutor English, Science, Maths, Tamil, and Psychology for all classes.
I’ve worked with children with special needs for many years, and it has truly shaped the way I teach patiently, creatively, and with a lot of understanding.
I believe every child learns differently, and I always try my best to make lessons enjoyable, clear, and tailored to their needs. I’m friendly, approachable, and love building positive relationships with my students.

My Experience
I’ve worked as a teaching assistant in different schools, both mainstream and special needs, and I’ve had the chance to work with children from nursery all the way up to secondary. Being in such varied settings has helped me understand how differently each child learns, and it’s something I really value in my teaching.
I’ve been working with children for about three to four years now, in different roles, but teaching has always been where my heart is. I’m very passionate about helping children learn, and I truly believe that no matter how difficult it may feel for a child, there is always a way to support them. It’s all about finding the approach that works best for them.
I’ve completed my Master’s in Child Psychology, which has helped me understand children better—how they think, how they learn, and what strategies can help them succeed. I try to make my teaching simple, clear, and easy to follow, and I always try to create a comfortable and encouraging space for my students.
Overall, my experience has taught me to be patient, understanding, and flexible with every child I work with. I genuinely enjoy what I do, and I’m always ready to support children in any way I can.
