My Experience

With over 20 years of experience as a Nursery Nurse in a Montessori setting, childcare has always been my passion and lifelong calling. Over time, I transformed that passion into LISA’S Nursery—where traditional Montessori principles meet the warmth and flexibility of a home-based environment.

My dedicated assistants and I have a combined experience of over 30 years at Montessori settings. Each member of our small team has been personally selected for their compassion, professionalism, and enthusiasm for children’s development. Together, we ensure every child receives individual attention, responsive care, and rich daily learning experiences designed to build confidence, curiosity, and independence.

We pride ourselves on offering the highest standard of care with the latest safety-approved equipment, high-quality resources, and a carefully planned daily routine that blends learning through play, sensory exploration, and early developmental goals.

My Availability

LISA’S Nursery offers both full-time and part-time spaces for children aged 3 months and above.

We are open Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with flexibility for early drop-offs and late collections upon request and availability.

The nursery operates all year round and is only closed 4 weeks in total per year, giving families dependable childcare through out the year.

Parents are encouraged to get in touch early to secure a space or to arrange a visit—come and see firsthand how we make every day a happy learning experience for children.

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
• Childminding from £11.00 per hour

Fees and Funding

At LISA’S Nursery, we believe exceptional childcare should be accessible, transparent, and fairly priced. Our fees reflect the outstanding level of care, experience, and dedication provided by our qualified team. While we are a new nursery, our combined years of expertise mean the care your child receives is truly invaluable—offered at a rate that remains competitive for the quality delivered.

Government-funded childcare places are available for children aged 9 months and above. We proudly offer both 15-hour and 30-hour funded spaces, with attendance based on a minimum of 3 days per week. These spaces are limited and highly sought after, so early registration is encouraged to secure your place.

Please note that top-up rates for funded places vary depending on your chosen care package. Contact us directly for a personalised quotation and to learn more about funding eligibility.
Current Rates:
• Half Day (5 hours): £55
• Full Day (10 hours): £82.50
• Minimum booking: 3 full days per week
• Age range: 3 months and upwards

All fees include freshly prepared meals (5 star rated by OFSTED), healthy snacks, drinks, sun cream, Calpol (as required), and regular local playgroup sessions—ensuring your child enjoys a fun, caring, and stimulating day.

To maintain the high standards of care and resources we provide, fees are reviewed annually with a standard 10% yearly increase.
