My Requirements

We’re looking for a kind, caring nanny for our 19 month old daughter. The role would be 3 mornings a week, 08:00-12:00 with occasional evening / weekend babysitting.

We’d like someone with toddler experience, who has a calm gentle nature. We try to follow Montessori / Waldorf/ Forest School principles, so we would like someone with a similar approach / willingness to learn and understand the principles, for example: outdoor play in all weathers & nature-focused exploration, child-led learning, encouraging independence and helping her to do it by herself, allowing time and space for focus and repetition without rushing, with an inclusion of arts, crafts, and music. Ideally you would come prepared with a couple of ideas for activities ideas for the day.

We’re based in Shrewsbury town centre.

We have an overly friendly cocker spaniel, so you’ll need to be comfortable with dogs.

Start date: March. Would do a couple of shorter days initially for her to get comfortable and used to you.
