Nursery Nurse in High Wycombe (also available for babysitting)
My Summary
About Me
I am an Early Years Practitioner (Level 3 Qualified) who has recently graduated in Education Studies, and is looking for some experience in working within my graduate role.
Family has always been a big part of my life, I was raised in a loving, supportive home, and those early relationships helped shape my caring nature and my passion for working with children. I’m currently working as an early years practitioner, which I absolutely love. Every day brings new smiles, challenges, and those special little moments that remind me why I chose this path.
Looking ahead, I’m working toward my goal of becoming a speech and language therapist, because I want to make an even bigger impact in children’s lives, especially those who need extra help with communication and confidence. I’m really passionate about helping all children find their voice and feel understood.
In the future, I also hope to have a family of my own. I’d love to raise children in the same kind of warm, nurturing environment that I was lucky enough to grow up in. I know that everything I’m doing now, professionally and personally, is helping me prepare for that future.
My Experience
Nursery Practitioner (1 year) – Ages 0–4
I worked in a nursery setting for a year, where I supported children aged 0–4. A large part of my role involved SENCO work. I worked closely with four toddlers with autism, providing intensive 1:1 support, creating activity plans, completing all relevant paperwork, and carrying out termly reviews of their development and learning. I also attended and contributed to meetings with parents and external professionals, ensuring consistent support and communication.
SEN Primary School (Current Role) – Ages 6–11
I currently work in a SEN primary school with children aged 6–11. My responsibilities include 1:1 intensive interaction, supporting pupils’ learning, communication, and emotional regulation, and helping create a safe and supportive environment tailored to their individual needs.
Additional Experience – Babysitting
Alongside my formal roles, I have also done extensive babysitting, which has given me additional hands-on experience supporting children in home environments.
I am currently employed and DBS checked, which is on the update system, and would like to offer my own services as well as being employed.
