My Experience

I am a learning support assistant, I assist college students who find it difficult to manage the emotional, social, and academic demands of school life. Many of them struggle with a variety of learning disabilities, ranging from dyslexia to autism and ADHD, and have complicated needs and challenging home circumstances. It's my responsibility to ease their stress and make the long school day a little more tolerable. A learning support assistant is the friendly face in an overwhelming crowd. Because a learning support assistant doesn't look as frightening as a teacher, vulnerable pupils might feel more at ease opening up to them.Additionally, I have worked at a residential care facility for almost five years and have experience with cooking.
