About Me
I am a solo mum to my daughter, who will be 2 in April. My daughter is a very cheerful and energetic toddler! She enjoys music, running around in the park and attending a variety of playgroups and classes. She enjoys a good variety of food.
We live within easy reach of West Dulwich, West Norwood and Tulse Hill train stations. There are also buses that serve the area, including a hail and ride bus that can be hailed directly outside the house. There are several shops, including supermarkets and independent bakeries, cafes, bookshops and much more within walking distance. Parking is free (no permit required) along the road. There are several large parks within walking distance.
My Requirements
Our current nanny will be leaving on 20th March. I am looking for a live in nanny to start a few days before that so that there can be a short handover period. The hours would be 7am to 7pm Monday to Friday, plus two evenings of babysitting each week.
I am looking for an energetic and enthusiastic nanny who will stimulate my daughter and take her to a variety of classes/activities. I would like her to socialise with other children, so a nanny who will be able to help build relationships with others over time is key. It is important to me that she eats balanced, healthy meals, which the nanny cooks from scratch.
Nursery duties will include engaging in playing and other activities with her to support development, taking her to swimming lessons, going on outings and arranging playdates. Cooking healthy and balanced meals and communicating with me about the day, plans or any concerns. Other duties will include caring for her if she is unwell, keeping her bedroom neat and tidy and tidying up after her around the house, doing her laundry and keeping the accommodation clean and tidy.
The nanny will be provided with a private furnished bedroom in the family home and a bathroom shared with my daughter (also used by any occasional weekend visitors). There are two living rooms, one of which would be available for the nanny to use so that she has some privacy during non working hours (used as the playroom during the day).
A full clean UK driving licence is essential. Ideally the nanny would be able to do occasional overtime at the weekends.
