About Me
Hi! My name is Chloe and I am 35. I am a calm, nurturing childcare professional with a genuine passion for supporting children’s development. As a fully qualified Level 3 Early Years Educator, I spent over five years working in nursery and preschool settings before choosing to become a nanny. I went on to care for four children over a period of two and a half years, until early 2024, when my role came to a natural end shortly before I welcomed my own son.
I will have my 16-month-old son with me — he’s a sweet, easy-going little boy who loves making new friends. When your child or children are in my care, they will be treated with the utmost respect, encouraged to express themselves, and valued as unique individuals.
As a nanny, I have planned and delivered a wide variety of learning and play experiences, from beach trips and museum visits to park outings, soft play, nature trails, and more. I believe in making every day an opportunity for discovery — ensuring children have fun while developing essential skills along the way. I incorporate the EYFS framework into my activities to support each child’s individual learning journey, particularly for those who are not attending nursery or preschool.
I am in the process of renewing my paediatric first aid certification, and obtaining nanny insurance. I am happy to be Ofsted registered if preferred, as I have been before previously. Having recently moved to the area, and will be relocating to Hitchin soon. I am preparing to complete all the necessary steps to be fully set up and ready to provide safe, high-quality care.
My Experience
I have worked with children professionally for seven years, and my time in the early years sector has strengthened my knowledge and understanding of child development and how best to support each child. I believe the first five years of a child’s life are the most important — and it’s not just about academics. It’s about nurturing them, giving them the opportunity to play and explore, helping them grow into confident individuals. Most of all, it’s about having fun and learning through play.
Even before I began my professional career, I had plenty of hands-on experience caring for children. As the eldest of four, I was very much a “second mum” to my younger siblings. Over the years, I have also babysat for many different families, often at weekends, giving me a wide range of experience with children of various ages and personalities.

My Availability
I am looking to do around 4 days a week and I am flexible with days. Starting around 8.30/9am and finishing latest 5.30pm. Again can be flexible if you need only a morning or an afternoon. I am happy to work in the summer holidays.
