About Me
Hi, I'm Aimee and I am incredibly passionate about my work with children. The long term goal is to become a SEN teacher and I am currently seeking a childcare apprenticeship. I have mainly cared for younger children however I am extremely willing and more than capable of looking after children of all ages. I enjoy reading, baking and outdoor walks, all of which I will enjoy with the children in my care. I live in Magherafelt and my updated availability is listed below. My Experience
I have done placement in two SEN schools for a nursery class and a class of 5-6 years olds. I also have babysitting experience from the lockdown period in which I cared for a 4 year old and a 2 year old while their parents were at work. I have both CPR and first aid training and since 16 I have worked in care with experience in learning disability and mental health.
My Qualifications
My highest level of qualification at present are my GCSE's. I studied health and social care for two years and then made the change to childcare. It is my favourite thing in the world and my placement really firmed my decision that this was the career path for me. I am currently searching for a childcare apprenticeship to further my education.
My Availability
I am in tech on a Monday and Tuesday all day with placement on a Friday for the month of January. On Thursday I am with another family and spend the evenings at dance class so I am unable to commit to continuous nanny work but can still do babysitting here and there as suits.
