Hi, I’m MumProfs — a name inspired by my years of teaching and the incredible results I’ve seen in my students, including my own children, who are living proof of what focused, personalized learning can achieve.
I’m a mum of two (ages 13 and 11), a former university lecturer in Biochemistry, and a dedicated private tutor with over 13 years of experience helping children of all ages succeed in Maths, English, Biology, Chemistry, and exam preparation (11+, SATs, and GCSEs).
As a mum, former student, and aunty, I truly understand both sides — the parent’s desire to see their child thrive and the student’s frustration when they’re trying their best but it just isn’t clicking. That’s why I believe in personalised tutoring — identifying what’s working, what’s not, and tailoring lessons to suit each child’s unique learning style.
My goal is to make learning make sense, build confidence, and bring out the best in every student. When parents see progress and children start to believe in themselves, that’s when I know we’ve succeeded — together.
