Hello,
My name is Abigail, and I am a qualified teacher and an Ofsted-registered childminder. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Education from Ghana hence taught for several years. My career in early years in the UK began as a childminder's assistant at Parent Heart Daycare. Working alongside a wonderful team of experienced practitioners, i gained invaluable practical knowledge and expertise in early years education. This journey has now led me to establish my own setting, Bigail's kiddy care, where i operate as a dedicated registered childminder, committed to providing high quality care and early years education
At Bigail's kiddy care, we prioritize your child’s health and well-being. Each day begins with a fresh fruit salad to keep your little ones energized and ready for the day ahead. We offer a variety of engaging activities, both indoors and outdoors, to support their development and curiosity. For lunch, we serve a nutritious, freshly cooked meal straight from our kitchen to the table, followed by healthy snacks after nap time.
You can rest assured that your child will receive the utmost care and attention in our nurturing environment. Although we operate from a home-based setting, our space is spacious, comfortable, and vibrant, providing plenty of room for your little ones to explore, learn, and grow.

My Experience
Having worked as a degree teacher in Ghana and also as a childminder assistant at Parents heart day care and having assisted with children at my local church Sunday school setting, I have gained a lot of knowledge and experience in the early years education.
My Qualifications
I have completed a range of courses to ensure I possess the essential skills and knowledge required to care for young children. These include **Paediatric First Aid**, **Health & Safety Awareness**, **Food & Safety Level 3**, **Advanced Safeguarding of Children**, and **FGM Awareness**.
My vision is simple: to partner with you in parenting, working together to provide a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment where your child can thrive.

We are so grateful to have found this daycare and especially Abi. From day one, Abi has been incredibly kind, patient, and attentive, making my child feel safe, loved, and happy. She truly treats the children as individuals and goes above and beyond to support their emotional and developmental needs.
The environment is always welcoming, clean, and well-organised, and I have complete peace of mind knowing my child is in such caring hands. Abi’s dedication, warmth, and genuine love for what she does really shine through every day. I couldn’t recommend her and this daycare highly enough.

We’ve had such a wonderful experience with Abi and her amazing team! From day one, they’ve been incredibly caring, responsible, and professional. Our son Ethan has always been so well looked after—he’s remained happy, settled, and excited to go each day, which says everything. It's such a relief as a parent to know your child is in such capable and loving hands.
