I’m Amelie, mum to KK, who is starting school this September. KK is autistic and non-verbal, and he communicates mainly through his tablet and sensory play. He’s very independent, enjoys his own routine, and only cries when expressing his needs.
Dinner will always be pre-prepared. KK has his sensory toys, tablet, and familiar comforts, which make looking after him straightforward once you get to know him.
My Requirements
• Essential: DBS check, First Aid training, and SEND childcare experience.
• No household chores required — only care for KK.
• Responsibilities include:
• Feeding him his pre-prepared dinner/snacks.
• Washing, creaming, and changing his clothes if needed.
• Making sure he has access to his sensory toys/tablet.
• Settling him with a bedtime routine (including reading if possible).
• Our home is currently under renovation, so sitters should be aware of this.
Availability: (rotas provided 1–3 weeks in advance)
• Friday–Saturday: 2/3pm (sometimes earlier) until latest 1am
• Sunday: 2/3pm (sometimes earlier) until latest 11:30pm
