Hi, I'm Vikkie, an experienced KS1 teacher with a specialism in phonics and early reading. As a passionate educator and a mummy to an 18 month old baby boy, I understand the importance of providing a warm, nurturing, and engaging environment where children feel safe, valued, and excited to learn.

Little Explorers Childcare is located in my home in Stockwood (Bristol). I offer a home-from-home setting where children can thrive through play based learning. I believe that play is the foundation for all early development - whether it's exploring the outdoors, engaging in imaginative play, or getting creative with arts and crafts. I encourage children to learn through experiences that spark curiosity and creativity.

With my background in primary teaching, I place a strong emphasis on recognising each child as an individual, supporting their unique interests, strengths and development at their own pace. I also value the importance of outdoor play and community exploration, and I make the most of the local nature reserve, community library, and local area, to give children opportunities to be active, discover, and engage with the world around them.
