My name is Timea, and I’m writing to introduce myself and express my interest in a babysitting position. I am 38 years old and currently on maternity leave with my 8-month-old baby. I'm an office administrator for a care company but I was working as a carer, support worker, deputy head of care in care homes. I was also a babysitter, nanny a few years ago. I am looking for an opportunity to care for another child or children while also being able to have my baby with me.
As a new mother, I understand firsthand the patience, responsibility, and gentle care that young children need. I’ve always enjoyed working with kids and find it incredibly rewarding to create a nurturing, fun, and safe environment where they can learn and grow.
I am reliable, calm under pressure, and genuinely enjoy spending time with children of all ages. I’m also happy to help with light household tasks, preparing simple meals, or maintaining routines that suit your family’s needs.
I believe having my baby with me can even be a positive aspect — many children enjoy the company of another little one, and it often helps them develop social and emotional skills in a natural, gentle way.
