I am a recently rated 'Good' OFSTED registered childminder and take term time government funding but I am also available outside of term time and the school holidays and charge my standard rate.

I have always been passionate about child psychology and early years education and enjoy childminding greatly as it is so rewarding. Being a mother has given me even more knowledge and inspiration; my daughter who is 2.5 years old is great with sharing her space and models good behavior among the other children. When children collaboratively play they learn so much more!

Following the EYFS framework, I work closely with my agency who is a high graded Ofsted registered agency to ensure my training is updated constantly and I have access to a wide community in which I bring new ideas constantly to my routine.

Unique highlights of my setting is my fondness of music and classical training in flute and piano. I have a piano on the ground floor which can be played and utilized in play sessions. It has a 'concert play' mode, which can be streamed alongside messy play activities. This provides an inspiring environment and encourages freedom of expression for the children.

Upstairs I also have a dedicated room for sensory play "The Glow room" (projectors and glow toys) and a music box for further collaborative play and expression, sing-song rhyme time.
This room offers a calm space to help self regulate emotions.

With our family dog 'Gizmo' on site, I also encourage nurturing and understanding of the natural world. Good hygiene and routines are practiced, and his interaction provides a wonderful opportunity for social and emotional development. He comes out for 'Tea Time' and 'grooming' on occasions, and is extremely friendly.

My garden space is large for plenty activity running around with Gizmo and a mud kitchen for growing new plants in the spring.

I enjoy the outdoors greatly and it is so important for their physical development so I would also be taking your children out regularly to parks, museums,farms and playgroups. No day is the same and I love adventures with the little ones! These activities will be planned ahead and parents notified always.

Lastly, I frequently communicate with parents to help nurture and grow their children, building confidence and independence is key. I update them regularly with photos and enjoy notifying parents of key developments or milestones. That is the best part!

I live in East Addiscombe near Addiscombe tram stop (10min walk), 10min bus ride from East Croydon station, and 5 min drive from West Wickham high street. My particular road is extremely quiet and safe and ample space for parking.
