About Me

Hello, my name is Laraib, and I run Creative Buddies, a warm and family-style childcare setting based in Forest Hill. I care for children aged 6 months to 5 years, providing a nurturing, homely environment where each child feels safe, valued, and encouraged to explore at their own pace.

I follow the EYFS curriculum and plan a range of activities to support children’s early learning, social development, independence, and confidence.

I offer flexible school and home drop-offs and pick-ups, making life easier for busy parents.

? Healthy Homemade Meals

I provide fresh, nutritious, homemade meals and snacks every day, following a healthy 4-week rotating menu.

? Daily Outdoor Activities

Children enjoy outdoor play every day — nature walks, visits to the park, physical play, feeding birds, scooter time, and garden activities.

? Learning Through Play (EYFS Focused)

I plan age-appropriate activities in all 7 EYFS areas, such as:
• Rhyme time & storytelling
• Mark making and early writing
• Counting and sorting games
• Sensory activities
• Creative arts and messy play
• Social play, sharing & turn-taking
• Understanding the world
• Physical development indoors & outdoors

Meal Provision

I provide:
• Breakfast
• Lunch
• Tea
• Healthy snacks
All included in the fees (you can adjust this if needed).

Menu includes: fresh fruits, vegetables, balanced meals, and child-safe portions.


School Runs / Home Drop-offs

Available for:
• Morning school drop-offs
• Afternoon pick-ups
• Home collections/drop-offs for families who need support


Activities & Play Experiences

Here are some examples of what we do:
• Park trips (Peckham Rye, local play areas, Horniman museum)
• Feeding birds and talking about nature and garden activities
• Soft toys and imaginative play
• Rhyme time and dancing
• Colour and shape recognition
• Sensory bins (rice, oats, pasta, water play)



Settling-in Process

I offer a gentle, personalised settling-in plan to help children feel comfortable and confident. Parents are always welcome to discuss their child’s routines, preferences, and needs.
