My Experience

I have now been a childminder since March and have experience of looking after different ages and multiple children at once. I am also a mum of two fully grown children who have now flown the nest and to two young children still at home. I have experience of children with SEND needs. I have worked in various soft play settings and as a children's entertainer in my younger years. I worked as a support worker for families in the social housing sector for 4 years. My previous business was centred around creating children's wear. I have a range of experience with crafts through that business and will be promoting expressive arts and craft activities in my setting. In previous work in hospitality I have gained extensive knowledge in COSHH, food hygiene and allergen training.

My Qualifications

As part of my child-minding training I have covered safeguarding and welfare practices and procedures, prevent procedures, assessment and planning and how to implement the EYFS and 7 areas of learning and development.

I also hold a full DBS check and in date paediatric first aid qualification.

My Availability

My opening hours are 7:30am-5:30pm Mon-Fri term time and school holidays

My Fees

• Childminding from £5.00 per hour

I am registered to accept all forms of funding for 9months-2years, 2-3 and 3-4 year funding, tax free childcare, childcare vouchers schemes, student finance and can provide receipts for universal credit childcare element.

I charge a daily rate of £50 and I do not offer half day placement
School collection and after school care is £10 per session per child
Before school and school drop off is £7 per session per child
