My Experience
I have gained valuable experience working in early years settings, supporting the development and well-being of children aged 3 to 5, as well as Primary 1 pupils. My work has involved fostering a nurturing, inclusive environment where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to explore their curiosity and creativity.
A key part of my experience includes supporting children with Additional Support Needs (ASN), both in mainstream settings and in more targeted interventions. I have worked alongside teaching staff and support teams to implement personalised strategies that address a range of needs, including speech and language difficulties, autism, sensory processing challenges, and developmental delays. I am attentive to each child’s unique way of learning and always aim to create an environment where they can thrive.
This experience has deepened my understanding of child development, inclusion, and the importance of patience, empathy, and consistent support in helping every child reach their full potential.
My Qualifications
I’m Qualified in level 6 and HNC in childhood practice. I have my food hygiene certificate also.
Currently doing my HND Childhood Practice.
