About Me
I have been working with children for 25 years from birth to teenagers. I am fully qualified and I am also a registered foster carer. I provide childminding 7 days a week and overnight care, as well as emergency cover. I am a fun, bubbly person with loads of energy. Children warm to me quickly and I develop close relationships with all my kids. I am in touch with all my families and the kids, even though grown up they still come and visit. I am very professional and I make sure we have a open and honest relationship and the children's needs and best interests always come first. I am respectful of individual needs and routines and will work with families to ensure these are implemented. My priority and main focus is that the children in my care feel loved and are happy.

So Ailsa contacted me and my fiancé offering help. She spoke to us on a video call, reaffirmed her offer of help. Visited us at home, again reaffirmed her offer. Arranged a follow up to bring her mum with her - odd for a 'professional' but made under the guise of her mum desperately wanting to help us. Came again with her mum. Had the audacity to agree several days of childcare literally a few days later. Promised to message us when she got home. Had to be chased. Then suddenly remembered that her mum was moving house and she was away for 3 weeks next month and maybe she could give us a call in a month. Then when called out on an obvious lie, tells me that she came to our home to 'assess' the situation and had the audacity to offer an unfounded and utterly unprofessional psychological opinion on my both my fiancé and my BABY daughter. Took advantage of a desperate family, made false promises she knew were false, lied to us and then offered unfounded opinions she is not qualified to offer. I cannot more strongly recommend NOT trying to use this woman's services.

Dear Both,
After ignoring multiple abusive messages, I feel I have to respond to this message as you have put it on a public platform.
I came to your house free of charge and spent a number of hours with you, over two days. I explained to you, I would like to help however it would need to be on an ad-hoc basis week by week, due to my own children being off school and I would have to see what hours I could do on a week-by-week basis. However, after asking my mother for a second opinion (both of us are fully qualified childcare practitioners with over 20 years plus experience) merely due to complex situation. After a lot of reflection, we came to the conclusion that you both would need a higher level of support than we could offer.
I was with you for a few hours yesterday and I messaged you back yesterday I do not see how this was not good communication and that you had to chase me for a response. We spoke within the same afternoon face to face and via message.
Stating that there is a lot of anxiety within the household is not a professional psychological opinion; or an unfounded opinion, it was evident. I did not take advantage of your family, I chose not to engage further and cause more distress to your daughter, knowingly, I would be going round in circles and getting nowhere, due to the lack of engagement by both parents not wanting to open up to any suggestions we gave and wanting us to follow the pattern of chaos. You have had multiple professionals who have tried with no avail and I am sorry I feel I would be left in the same situation.
I am sorry you feel I have caused you stress, but I hope you get the help you are looking for and I wish you all the best.
