My Experience

Most recently, I was a swimming teacher, a role I truly loved. It was rewarding to help children learn to swim and equip them with such an essential life skill whilst keeping them safe.

Before that, I served as a 1:1 teaching assistant for a child with additional needs. This opportunity arose during my two-year placement in preschool as part of my childcare course. Supporting this child and aiding in his development was incredibly fulfilling. I formed a strong bond with him and his family, and I thoroughly enjoyed working with the preschool team.

In my spare time and as part of my college course, I completed two weeks of voluntary work experience at different school nurseries. Additionally, I worked at a preschool every other week, where I developed essential teamwork skills, initiative, planning and implementing activities, and engaging with both parents and children.

I consider myself hardworking and eager to learn in new environments. I'm reliable and punctual, with a strong attendance record. I'm patient, friendly, and have a passion for working with children.

Working towards a Bachelor's degree in Primary Education with QTS
