About Me

Hi, my name is Wendy I am an Ofsted register childminder with up-to date DBS and first aid certificates. I live with my husband, we have 3 Grown up children and 4 grandchildren. We are dog lovers and have 2 cocker spaniels.
I provide a homely and friendly environment for your child to play and learn. I also offer a range of activities to ensure your child receives maximum opportunity for development. I have an enclosed and safe garden perfect for outdoor play to allow your child to explore and be creative.
I have worked in a local nursery for 20 years but am now supporting my family with their Child care needs, and opening the door up for other children to join in the fun.

My Experience

I worked as a childminder for 10 years when my children were young. After gaining an NVQ 3 in child care I worked in a local nursery for 20 years, 15 of them in the Baby room. I have now returned to childminder for my grand children.

NVQ 3 in early year care and education
Cache 2 Play work
Paediatric First Aid
Safeguarding Children and designated lead.
Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene for Early Years Settings
GDPR.
CPD Working with babies
Good understanding of the EYFS
