About Me

I am a dedicated and enthusiastic trainee primary teacher with a strong background in childcare, education, and child development. Currently completing my PGDE in Primary Education at the University of Aberdeen, I have experience supporting learners of all abilities, including those with additional support needs. I bring a warm, patient, and adaptable approach to tutoring, creating a safe and supportive space where children can grow in confidence and thrive academically. Whether helping to reinforce classroom learning or providing tailored one-to-one support, I am passionate about helping every child reach their full potential.

My Experience

I have a broad range of experience working with children in educational and care settings. Currently completing my PGDE in Primary Education, I have designed and led lessons across the Early, First and Second Levels of Curriculum for Excellence, adapting my teaching to suit different learning styles and support needs.

In addition to my school placements, I’ve worked as a registered childminder, supporting children aged 0–10 with their developmental milestones, early literacy, numeracy, and social skills. I have also supported children with ASN in both mainstream and inclusive learning environments.

These experiences have strengthened my ability to build positive relationships, deliver engaging learning, and support each child’s individual progress with care and consistency.
