Hello! We’re a warm and friendly family based in Colerne, looking for someone kind, nurturing, and reliable to care for our daughter, Ffion, three days a week from March 2026 when I return to work from maternity leave.
We love the outdoors and spend as much time as possible outside together, whether it’s exploring the countryside, enjoying local walks, or simply pottering in the garden with our two dogs. Ffion is a sociable, curious little girl who thrives on being out and about, so our days often include local adventures, toddler groups, or fun classes.
We’re hoping to find someone who will feel like part of the family, and who shares our values of kindness, warmth, and enjoying an active lifestyle.
My Requirements
We are looking for an experienced nanny to join our family from February/March 2026 to care for our daughter, Ffion, three days a week. Ideally, you will be based out of our home in Colerne.
We’d love to find someone who has experience raising their own children, and who brings warmth, energy, and a love of the outdoors. As a family, we spend lots of time outside, and with two friendly dogs at home, it’s important that you are comfortable around animals.
Most importantly, we want someone who is kind, nurturing, and responsive to Ffion’s needs. My parenting style is attachment-led, and we’d like her carer to reflect that approach — ensuring she always feels secure, supported, and safe.
We can be flexible on which three days a week are filled by a nanny but they need to be the same three days each week. Ideally, our nanny would be Ofsted registered so we could claim free childcare from the government but that is obviously a secondary requirement to finding the right person.
