My Experience

My experience with childcare started at home—I've spent a lot of time looking after my younger brother, which has given me hands-on experience with everything from preparing meals and helping with homework to calming tantrums and creating fun activities to keep him engaged. It’s taught me how to be patient, attentive, and adaptable in all kinds of situations.

Beyond family, I’m confident in caring for children of different ages and personalities. I know how important it is to create a safe, positive environment, and I always aim to make kids feel comfortable, supported, and entertained. I’m also fully DBS-checked and up to date with all necessary background checks, so safety and trust are always at the core of what I do.

My Qualifications

I have three A Levels in Psychology, English Language, and Geography, which have given me a strong foundation in communication, understanding behavior, and being observant—all key skills when working with children. My background in psychology, in particular, helps me to engage with kids in a thoughtful and empathetic way, understanding their needs and emotions.

I'm fully up to date with DBS and criminal background checks, and I hold valid ID, so you can know that safety and trust are my top priorities. I'm reliable, responsible, and genuinely enjoy spending time with children—whether that's helping with homework, getting creative with activities, or just making sure they feel safe and happy.
