My Summary
About Me
I have 3 years of experience caring for children, supporting their daily routines, learning, and emotional well-being. I am passionate about helping children grow with confidence, kindness, and creativity. My goal is always to create a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where every child feels valued, supported, and inspired to thrive. I am also working towards becoming an Ofsted-registered childminder to build on my skills to provide the best care, support, and learning opportunities for every child.
My Experience
I have extensive experience caring for children of all ages, from newborns to older children, which has given me a strong understanding of different stages of growth and development. I am first aid qualified and have also completed a safeguarding course, which allows me to provide safe, reliable, and responsible care at all times. I pride myself on creating a nurturing, secure, and engaging environment where children can thrive, while also offering parents peace of mind. Over the years, I have supported families by following consistent routines, adapting to individual needs, and encouraging children through every stage – from settling newborns into sleep routines, to supporting toddlers with milestones, and guiding older children in learning and independence.
Key responsibilities and skills include:
• Caring for newborns, including feeding, changing, and establishing sleep routines.
• Supporting toddlers with milestones such as communication, independence, and social development.
• Following and maintaining daily routines, including meals, naps, and playtime.
• Creating fun, stimulating, and age-appropriate activities.
• Building strong, positive relationships with children and their families.
• Adapting to the unique needs and personalities of children of all ages.
• Ensuring a safe, clean, and supportive environment at all times.
• First Aid qualified and safeguarding trained.
And I follow the EYFS curriculum

I would recommend Diana as a superb child carer. Diana really surprised me. We had to choose between her and a nanny who had been in the field for over 12 years and after the interview I just felt she was the right person. And everyday after she left I would call my husband and tell him just how pleased I was.
She is a quick learner, she took onboard everything I shared regarding my son and worked to my pace. I am a nervous mummy so I was especially nervous regards to safety and choking risks, and she took that completely on board.
By day 3 she was able to put him down for naps herself after observing me do it just a few times. She prepped food and took him out for walks multiple times a day. She would give me regular updates on what they got up to via WhatsApp so I could continue my work day not overthinking.
She also didn’t like just sitting around when he napped even though I encouraged her to rest since my son is very demanding, she would ask where the vacuum was and vacuum my house and also wash dishes for me etc. she was always keen to go above and beyond and I am genuinely sad that she can’t be a long term nanny for us since we are moving house, due to my husband’s job. Highly recommend xx
