With over 10 years of experience working with children across various settings, I bring a deep passion for nurturing and supporting young minds. My journey began through volunteering in my local church, where I was actively involved in Sunday school and the children’s choir, helping to guide and engage children in creative and meaningful ways.
I’ve also had the privilege of working as a STEM ambassador, delivering workshops, presentations, and hands-on activities to help children of all ages discover a love for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. In addition, I have extensive experience in planning and running children’s events as a party planner and stylist, where I’ve developed a strong ability to keep children engaged, entertained, and happy in a structured, fun environment.
As a mother of five children, aged 6 to 15, I understand firsthand the importance of routine, consistency, and creating enriching environments for children to learn, grow, and thrive, and understand the I’m passionate about encouraging creativity, outdoor play, and helping children explore the world around them in a safe and supportive way.
I am OFSTED registered and hold a Paediatric First Aid certification as well as a Level 3 Safeguarding qualification in Common Core Skills & have full DBS checks. I also have experience caring for children with ADHD and those on the autism spectrum, and I am committed to meeting the individual needs of every child in my care.
My Experience
I am a caring, reliable and experienced childcare provider with experience supporting newborn babies, toddlers and young children in a safe, nurturing and engaging environment. I understand the importance of creating positive routines, encouraging development through play, and ensuring every child feels comfortable, supported and valued. I also have experience working with children with additional needs, including children on the autism spectrum and children with ADHD, adapting my approach to meet each child’s individual needs and promote their confidence, wellbeing and independence.
My Qualifications
I hold a range of professional childcare and safety qualifications to ensure children are cared for in a safe, secure and professional setting. I am Pediatric First Aid qualified, fully DBS checked and OFSTED registered. I have completed Safeguarding Common Core Skills Level 3 training and have experience supporting children with autism and ADHD. In addition, I hold Health & Safety qualifications and a Food Hygiene Certificate, ensuring high standards of care, safety and wellbeing at all times.
My Availability
I am available Monday to Friday from 7:30am until 6:00pm, offering flexible and dependable childcare to support busy families and working parents. Weekend and evening childcare can also be arranged upon request where availability allows. I aim to provide a flexible service that meets the needs of both parents and children while maintaining a consistent and supportive environment.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Nannying from £11.00 per hour (gross)
My childcare fees are competitive and reflect the high standard of care, professionalism and flexibility I provide. Fees can vary depending on the hours required, the age of the child and any additional requirements such as evening or weekend care.
