My Experience
I’ve been working as a nanny for the past two years, caring for children of different ages and personalities. My experience has taught me the importance of patience, empathy, and consistency—and how much of a positive difference a nurturing presence can make in a child’s life.
One of the most meaningful influences on my caregiving style comes from my personal life: I have a younger brother who is autistic. Growing up closely with him has given me unique insight into neurodiversity, as well as experience with communication strategies, sensory sensitivities, routines, and the value of understanding each child’s individual needs.
