My Experience

During my degree in Mathematics and Philosophy in Liverpool, I worked in three high schools, gaining hands-on experience supporting a wide range of learners. My focus was working closely with students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), helping to create inclusive, accessible learning environments where students could thrive academically and personally.

Over the past nine months, I’ve worked as a GCSE Maths tutor at Co-op Failsworth Academy, supporting students across the ability spectrum—from those needing targeted help to build foundational skills, to a high-achieving pupil preparing for his Further Maths GCSE. This role has strengthened my ability to adapt lessons to individual learning styles, build confidence, and break down complex topics into manageable steps.

Through these experiences, I’ve developed a calm, patient, and encouraging teaching style that helps students feel supported and motivated. I’m passionate about making maths accessible and helping all students realise their full potential.

• Tutoring from £15.00 per hour

For primary school teaching £15 per hour
For years 7-9 £20 per hour
For years 10-11 £25 per hour
For years 12-13 £30 per hour.

These prices can be negotiated, and will change if travel is required (3+ miles from Stockport).
